Meet Raiku, Solana's Coordination Layer
Raiku reimagines how applications interact with Solana through infrastructure products that improve scalability, reliability and performance.

Over the past five years, Solana’s unmatched speed and scalability have made the chain a leader in developer activity and innovation, bringing in both new consumers, enterprises & institutions.
It’s “only possible on Solana” for a reason.
However, recent surges in demand have highlighted that transaction reliability remains a key area for improvement. High-volume applications can strain the network during congestion, leading to inconsistent execution and incomplete transactions. To power the next generation of truly scalable and high velocity applications on Solana, we need to rethink how applications are interacting with distributed networks.
Blockchain networks will struggle to serve global use cases without speed, reliability, and security comparable to that of traditional systems. Applications require guaranteed transaction inclusion within defined time windows, and consistent results regardless of network conditions.
For example, high frequency trading companies depend on confirmation times under 30ms (vs. the current ~400ms). Beyond speed, institutions also need deterministic transaction ordering and regulatory compliance guarantees before moving fully onchain.
We believe the future of internet capital markets is onchain, and the base blockchain for everything is Solana, and we’re building the infrastructure products it will take to get there.
This is the Raiku moment.
Only possible on Solana.
Raiku, Solana’s Coordination Layer
Raiku is a core infrastructure layer for Solana, designed to bring optimal latency properties and high degree of design freedom for developers to build real products on-chain.
Our thesis is that applications benefit from specialised execution logic distinct from Solana’s base network specifications and consensus, enabling optimised performance for specific use cases. Think of Raiku as the coordination layer between the Solana network, the execution environments of applications and builders, and the consensus of Solana’s ecosystem of validators.
Raiku extends Solana’s capabilities through novel transaction types and infrastructure:
Novel Transaction Types
- Guaranteed Execution: Fast and guaranteed transaction inclusion through novel transaction types through the Raiku validator network
- Inclusion Signals: Receive inclusion signals with Ahead-of-time block auctions
- Data Streaming: Stream large transactions & data submissions through new “Proof streaming” transaction type
Key Platform Components
- Slot Marketplace: Reserve and trade blockspace through stake-weighted slot allocation, enabling long-term capacity reservations
- Global Account Module: Unified state management and seamless execution across native and external applications with multi-VM support
- RFQ Liquidity Layer: Connecting apps to capital markets, providing direct market-maker access for deep liquidity
Raiku enables Solana native and external applications to be exponentially more performant, reliable, and scalable to meet the growing demands of their end users.

Use Cases for Raiku
Raiku’s infrastructure primitives open up new possibilities for applications seeking institutional-grade performance and reliability, including:
- High-frequency trading
- Payments infrastructure
- Neo-banking applications
- Decentralized physical networks
- Real-time Solana network health monitoring
- Encrypted, large-scale, verifiable AI training and other AI applications
- Financial applications, such as private settlement channels or automated risk management
Built by a team of Solana and Ethereum-native experts with experience at Kiln and Outlier Ventures, Raiku lets you build high-performing applications on Solana by supporting significantly larger transactions to the network, alongside microsecond precision and guaranteed settlement timing.
Raiku’s Roadmap
We deployed our sidecar (modified validator) and ackermann-node coordination network (Raiku v1) on Devnet in December 2024.
Currently, Raiku’s testnet opens soon for selected validators, where ahead-of-time block auctions and pre-confirmations are now available. This will be followed by a public testnet open to builders and ecosystem participants as we prepare for a mainnet launch in Q4 2025.
